DAILY POST: MBADI warns RAILA ODINGA against imposing leaders on Luo electorate – Many governors are useless and have poor development record Politics 02:44 Monday January 14, 2019-Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Chairman, John Mbadi, has warned National Super Alliance (NASA) leader, Raila Odinga, against imposing leaders on Luo electorate.
 In 2017, Raila Odinga imposed four governors to the Luo electorate and according to Mbadi this is a recipe for disaster.  Without mentioning names, Mbadi, who is also the Minority leader in Parliament said most governors in Luo Nyanza have no development record.  Mr Mbadi said the performance of most governors in the region is embarrassing compared to other areas like Central Kenya.  “ODM  leader , Raila Odinga and many others fought for devolution  but the fruits are not being  realized back home because  of the clueless  people  in office,” ,Mbadi said.  Mbadi also said time has come for a revolution in Luo Nyanza where technocrats should replace seasoned political dinosaurs like governors Prof Anyang Nyongo and Cyprian Awiti.
