Mohamed Salah casts doubts on Liverpool future amid Real Madrid interest

Mohamed Salah has reportedly sparked up reactions from Liverpool supporters following his refusal to commit his future to the Merseyside outfit.

The Egyptian has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer as part of their quest to strengthen their squad.

He scored the opening goal from the spot kick for the Reds in their 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur in Saturday’s Champions League final at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

SunSport however report that Salah was asked about his future at the end of the match by Movistar and he said: “Now I cannot talk about my future.

Meanwhile, one of the Reds officials was said to have rescued Salah from the reporters who wanted to know where he will be playing next season.

His refusal to reveal his future plans birthed reports about the forward’s possibility of leaving the club this summer.

Madrid tried signing the former Chelsea striker last season as replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo who joined Juventus the same time.

Apart from winning the Champions League title, the former Roma star also won the Premier League highest goal scorer award for the second time in a row.

But this time, he won it alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Sadio Mane after all three scored 22 goals each at the end of the season.

Reports from the Santiago Bernabeu claim Real Madrid are planning to splash £175 million for the Liverpool forward who has hit 71 goals and 21 assists at Anfield since his move from Roma two years ago.
