DAILY POST: MUTAHI NGUNYI also weighs in on the ongoing Jubilee drama and the 2022 politics-See what he said that has scared Kikuyus to death News 01:48
Tuesday January 15, 2019-Controversial political analyst, Mutahi Ngunyi, has given his cents on the ongoing drama in the Jubilee Party regarding Deputy President William Ruto’s 2022 Presidential bid.
Speaking on his popular Youtube channel, The Fifth Estate, Ngunyi poured cold water on the fate of Kikuyu community after 2022 Presidential elections, saying the tribe will be out of power for 30 years after the forthcoming referendum. According to Mutahi, the political rants from Kikuyu community leaders was a sign of panic over their fate in leadership after the 2022 elections, given that they have no strong candidate to take over from Uhuru. "To the Kikuyus, 2022 elections is not an issue, to them 2022 marks the end of an empire, the GEMA (Gikuyu, Embu, Meru Association) empire which was started in 1963 and was rudely interrupted by former President Moi before it was continued by Kibaki and now Uhuru," said Mutahi. "The empire is coming to an end in 2022 and the earliest another Kikuyu can become President is 30 years later, 2052, and this is scary to the Kikuyu capitalists and nobility of the GEMA empire," he added.
