Opposition chief and Gor Mahia patron, Raila Odinga, has joined other Kenyans in congratulating Wazito FC and Kisumu Allstars after earning promotion to the Kenyan Premier League.

Wazito clinched the National Super League title after topping the league with 81 points, with Kisumu All Stars finishing second with 80 points.

Wazito will be making an instant comeback to the top tier after their relegation in 2018 while Kisumu Allstars, formerly Palos FC will be debuting in top flight football.

Odinga, a well know football fanatic has since taken to social media to congratulate the two teams.

"Congratulations @KisumuAllstars and @wazitofc on qualifying to play in @TheOfficialKPL next season. We look forward to more competitive and entertaining football. Hongera," he tweeted.

Meanwhile, Wazito fc head coach, Fred Ambani, has exuded confidence his current crop of players can replicate NSL triumph in KPL.

"These players have been wonderful, they have been exceptional this season and that is why we have managed to win the league," Goal.com quoted the tactician.
"They have what it takes to be successful at the top, so we will just strengthen the team, not weaken it," he added.
