Shaffie Weru is in mourning after losing his dear uncle.

In Islamic law (“shariah”), the body should be buried as soon as possible from the time of death. This basically means that funeral arrangements begin immediately after approval from the government.

Last week on Thursday, Ali Kiba laid his loving father to rest, the same day he died. The singer took to social media to thank his fans for their support as they went through the trying time.

Nawashukuru wote walioshiriki katika mazishi ya mzee wangu Na wale ambao hawakujaaliwa pia mimi Na familia yangu tumefarijika sana namuomba MUNGU ailaze roho ya marehemu mahali Pema peponi Na atupe subira kwenye kipindi hiki kigumu AMIN

Translation;

I thank everyone who participated in my father’s burial and for those who were not able and also my family and I have been blessed by your support. I pray to God to lay his soul in eternal peace and may he give us patience during this trying time. Amen.
