Five former Members of the Makueni County Assembly, one sitting MCA and a former county clerk arrested on Monday by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission have been arraigned in court. The seven are accused of deceitfully claiming and receiving 175,018 shillings and 50 cents each as full per diem for a trip of six days to Dubai which had been privately sponsored by the then Member of Parliament Patrick Musimba.
