Urithi Housing Cooperative Society has commenced issuance of title deeds to land buyers who invested in the Juja Highlands Annex project.
Livingstone Mwangi a beneficiary was ecstatic after receiving his title saying the wait has been worthwhile.
“I am excited because at some point I gave up on ever receiving the document. I thank the company because of making it possible for me and others to own property,” He said.
The title deeds issuance initiative is expected to continue in different counties in the coming week.

Society Chairman Samuel Maina said issuance of title deeds will continue in different parts of the Country saying he will tour Mombasa before heading to Nakuru for the same exercise.
The society has also commenced tours for its members to the various projects it’s undertaking to address specific issues.
Urithi has been facing financial difficulties just like other real estate companies especially since the outbreak of Covid-19 but the society is now holding status meetings for each site to update members on the progress of the projects.
The cooperative society intends to issue title deeds in more than 20 projects before the year ends.
Maina says they have also embarked on completion of stalled housing projects which have delayed due to lack of remittance of dues by members.
He urged Members to fulfill their partnership agreements to enable the society complete its projects.
Maina said those who will have completed payment for their titles and signed for their transfers will continue to receive their title deeds within 14 days of the signing.
