Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira was left in tears following his side's 4-1 defeat to Chelsea in the Europa League final at Baku Olympic Stadium.

A brace from Eden Hazard, one from Pedro and the another from Olivier Giroud sealed the victory for the Blues.

Meanwhile, Alex Iwobi's fantastic volley in the 69th minute of the encounter was unable to save the Gunners from the demolition in Azerbaijan.

SunSport however reports that the Uruguay international Torreira was left devastated after the match, as he started weeping from the moment he was substituted.

Torreira was a second half substitute for Super Eagles attacker Iwobi but the 23-year-old was all emotional seeing his side's ship sink without rescue.

Torreira fired a long range shot which narrowly missed the target, but both Premier League sides failed to find the back of the net in the first stanza.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will probably have himself to blame having missed glaring chances in the early minutes of the game.

Meanwhile, some Arsenal fans have reacted to the star's emotional pictures saying: "We are all like Torreira right now @arsenal."

Meanwhile, some Chelsea fans aimed a dig at the Arsenal midfielder after the match: "being dominated in another big game."
