Louis Otieno has a grown son. One he has never talked about.

His name is Silas Miami and he is a creative soul. He has worked on many award-winning Kenyan films.

Above that, Silas is a Mandela Rhodes Scholar.

The late Nelson Mandela started the scholarship to “build exceptional leadership capacity in Africa.”

Revealing the news that he is a Mandela Rhodes Scholar, Silas said, “I’m seriously doing an MA for free. As in- Bure. Scholarships are the future fam. I am never paying for education again.”

Anyhow, Silas seems like he is a happy soul if his photos on social media are anything to go by.

‘I have come to recognise my father’s failures,’ Louis Otieno’s son calls him out

On February, his birthday month, Silas celebrated major milestones in his life.

Silas wrote about his “Birthday love”

“It was abundant. My god. Surprise birthdays (multiple), amazing gifts, spending time with old and new family and I think the most important moniker of a successful birthday: the absence of ‘HBD’s on my wall. You should all be very pleased with this clear indication of evolution and *Kelly voice* growth.

A few people sent me actual essays that I’m really struggling to respond to. Y’all heifers really left me scrambling for words. Thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

Still, on the same post, he gave us a glimpse into what his work life is like.

“This month was brutal. It felt like nothing was grounded and I was playing catch up. But in the past week, so much has aligned to make it clear that I’m exactly where I need to be. Doing eeeexactly what I’m doing.

My first feature film premiered at The Berlinale and won an award. Yo. As in? And my second one is coming out in a few weeks. You can’t make these things up. I’m going to try and celebrate the wins a little more: and you guys are going to lose your minds when you hear what we’re busy cooking up. It still hasn’t hit me yet. ???.”

Silas seems to live a charmed life. And he has a wicked sense of humour.

Here is what he wrote about his social life.

“I need to see the inside of a club in 2018. Abeg! We can’t live like this. I just want to misbehave on a dancefloor damn it!”

He also has a flirty streak. In a past post in which he is pictured with Patricia Kihoro he writes.

“My Baby Love is here!!!! @misskihoro. We’ll be making poor choices this evening!”

Patricia Kihoro responds, “I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE YOU!”

Heavenly chemistry! DJ Mo and Grace Ekirapa photos exude raw chemistry
