Uhuru FIRES Murathe amid IMPEACHMENT threats

Jubilee Party politicians have come out to celebrate the outfit’s Vice Chair David Murathe’s resignation.

The Uhuru confidant quit the position following a brush with DP William Ruto in which he had vowed to stop the latter’s 2022 ambitions, noting his position was no longer untenable.

Meanwhile, Ruto’s lieutenants had threatened to impeach the head of state over his silence on the matter.

Led by Nakuru senator Susan Kihika, the MPs threw a barrage of insults at Murathe during a Church service for his anti-Ruto sentiments.

“The President told him to leave the party,” a source familiar with the matter was quoted as saying.
