DAILY POST: WILLIAM RUTO’s ally in deep trouble for defying his party boss-Asked to quit the party quietly or be kicked by force

Monday January 14, 2019-FORD Kenya Deputy Party Leader, Boni Khalwale, has been
urged to quit the party for shifting allegiance to Deputy President William
Ruto and drumming up his support for 2022 Presidency in the Western region.

In
a statement, FORD Kenya Secretary General, Eseli Simiyu, claimed that Khalwale
had begun a premature Presidential campaign for another candidate, thus being a
stumbling block to FORD Kenya Party Leader, Moses Wetangula, who is also eyeing the top office in the land.

Simiyu
asked Khalwale to do the right thing and resign from the party quietly or else
he will be ejected by force.

“Khalwale is a seasoned politician who fully
understands what the party rules and regulations are as well as the
requirements of the Political Parties Act.”

“He
should feel free to leave since his heart is elsewhere,” Simiyu said.

According
to Simiyu, Khalwale should bolt out of the party for supporting Ruto instead of
supporting his party Presidential candidate, Moses Wetangula, for President come
2022.

Khalwale has vowed to support Ruto to succeed
Uhuru Kenyatta as President in 2022.
