President Uhuru to DP Ruto: It is not how much you worship God, but how much you live in his ways

President Uhuru Kenyatta is no longer tolerating the hypocrisy of people who claim to worship God but the following day, are on political podiums throwing jibes at their opponents. The President, who was speaking at the CITAM church 60th anniversary on Saturday, was seen as taking jibes at DP William Ruto who was also present at the same event.

” It is not how much your worship God but how much you live in His(God) ways. If we want to live in a great Country, let us praise&worship God but most of all let us live in His ways,” he said.

DP William Ruto has been at the forefront in trying to portray himself as a God fearing politician, by trying to endear himself to the electorate and christian voters by conducting numerous fundraisers in churches.

Earlier during the month, Deputy President William Ruto and his wife Rachel Ruto on officially launched a National Prayer Altar at their residence in Karen. The two were joined by various leaders of the clergy and Rachel and even quoted a Bible verse as part of their motivation towards building an altar for the Lord.
