Gor Mahia FC’s CAF Confederation Cup ride hit a snag as the Kenyan champions lost 2-0 to RS Berkane in the first leg of their quarter-finals clash at the Kasarani Stadium on Sunday.
Issoufou Dayo and Bakr El Helali scored in either half of the match as the Moroccans put themselves comfortably in the driving seat and leave Gor with all to do during the return fixture set for next week on Sunday.
