‘Big Little Lies’ Fan Spots Big Clue in Season 2 Poster

Warning: The following post contains spoilers about Big Little Lies season 1.

• Big Little Lies season two will premiere on HBO on Sunday, June 9.
A fan on Reddit found a detail that might be a sign of things to come on the show.
The title letters on the season’s poster cover everyone’s mouth except Meryl Streep.

One of the best parts of watching Big Little Lies is getting into all of the fan theories and little details in the show that foreshadow something huge coming later on. Fans had so many theories about who would be killed at the end of season one (even though the answer was already available in Liane Moriarty’s book that inspired the series).

Now that the limited series has come back for a second season, fans have even more theories about what will go down in the aftermath of Perry’s death, especially since Meryl Streep’s character, Mary Louise, has come to Monterey to find out the truth about her son’s death.

One eagle-eyed fan on Reddit found a detail that might be a sign of things to come for the Monterey Five.

“Just noticed this little detail in the poster for Season 2. The title letters are covering everyone’s mouths except for Meryl Streep. Symbolizes the vow of silence between all the ones directly involved. May have been pointed out before but I thought I’d share!” TrentonTallywacker wrote.

The words on the poster do in fact cover everyone’s mouth except Streep, which may mean that she’s the one to tell the investigators following her son’s case what actually happened.

In case you need a refresher, at the end of season one, Bonnie (Zoë Kravitz) pushed Perry down the stairs after he tried to physically abuse Celeste in public (he had also been privately abusing her before this). It had also just been revealed that he was the one that raped Jane (Shailene Woodley) years ago.
