Former Nyakach MP Daima Ochieng’s family is a worried lot.
A close family member told Weekly Citizen that the former MP wakes in the middle of his sleep and starts crying, stripping naked calling the names of his departed relatives to come to his rescue.
As a result, the family was recently forced to seek divine intervention in Uganda. The ex-MP has told friends that he lost his multimillion property and businesses leading to depression that is taking a toll on his life.
Ochieng served as MP between 2002 and 2007 and is running bankrupt forcing him to travel to Uganda and receive prayers from Pastor Samuel Kakande.
It is not only Daima who is feeling the heat. His wife Goretty Auma once outgoing and sharp dressing is a pale shadow of her former self. In fact, it is said Auma it is who came up with the idea of the Uganda spiritual healing visit.
Auma took the ex-MP’s portrait, cloths including inner pants and several photos of his stalled projects to pastor Kakande. It was then decided she accompanies Daima to Uganda.

According to a family member, the visit was to be secretive. However, we have information that some in the family were against it and thought he was being taken to visit a witch doctor in president Yoweri Museveni land.
On Sunday October 6, Daima looking confused was among hundreds of faithful who flocked Kakande Ministries for healing from ailments and other curses.
During what is called prophesy time and where each congregant introduces relatives present, believers were in shock when it was said in their congregation was a former Kenyan MP.
Auma said that the pastor had prophesied to hear concerning the husband and told me to bring him.
Almost shedding tears, she talked of having lost property.
Daima told those present of his financial woes. He confessed to have lost a palatial house valued at Sh20 million, a luxury car and several trucks besides suffering from an insistent back ache.
“The prophesy that you gave there is true. I can confirm I lost a house; the house is about Sh 20 million. I had 10 trucks, I lost all of them. I lost a Prado. I lost everything and even now life has become a bit challenging,” he said
