DAILY POST: HASSAN JOHO mocks MIKE SONKO over his newly acquired fake American accent as he leaves the crowd in stitches - This was funny 06:06
Thursday November 29, 2018 - Mombasa Governor, Ali Hassan Joho,  taunted his Nairobi counterpart, Mike Sonko, yesterday over his recent address that he delivered with a fake American accent. While giving credit to Sonko for successfully hosting the 1st ever global Sustainable Blue Economy Conference (SBEC) at KICC, Joho thanked him for the hospitality in "Nairobi Cirrrry (City)". "Governor 0047, thank you for welcoming us in your cirry (Sic)," Joho said as the audience burst out in laughter. "Dunia mzima ilijua if Sonko decides to switch the other way... Anasema this is the headquarra... (The whole world now knows that if Sonko decides to switch his accent, he can pronounce 'headquarter' as headquarra)," he added. During the conference, Sonko shocked Kenyans after he pulled the fake American accent, where he referred to city as "cirry" as well as President Uhuru Kenyatta’s name as "Kenyarra".
