DAILY POST: Gloves off as DR ROSYLENE AKOMBE goes for top detective GEORGE KINOTI’s neck over MSANDO’s murder – This womans has “balls” Politics 04:55 Thursday December 20, 2018-Former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) commissioner, Dr. Roselyn Akombe, has called for an inquest into the murder of former IEBC ICT manager, Chris Msando.
Msando was brutally murdered and his body dumped in a thicket in Kikuyu area, Kiambu County days to August 8th, 2017 general election.He was killed together with his clandestine lover Caroline Ngumbu. Now, Akombe took to the social media on Tuesday and called for an inquest into the murder of Msando and Ms Ngumbu. Akombe made the plea after DCI George Kinoti ordered Nyeri Chief Magistrate to conduct a public inquest into the death of Nyeri Governor Wahome Gakuru, who lost his life after a tragic road crash along Nyeri-Nairobi highway in November last year. Akombe, who is currently working at the United Nations in New York, promised to avail herself for questioning should the DCI call for an inquiry into Msando's murder. “Looking forward to the DCI requesting a public inquest into the brutal torture and murder of my IEBC colleague Chris Msando and Ms. Ngumbu. I confirm my availability to be interviewed under oath,”she said in a tweet. Msando, who had earlier said there will be no rigging of the 2017 Presidential election, is said to have been lured to his death by former IEBC CEO, Ezra Chiloba. Nobody has been arrested in regards to Msando‘s untimely death.
