DAILY POST: Here is why Kenyans blamed Chief Justice, DAVID MARAGA over DUSITD2 HOTEL terrorist attack – He was behind it Politics 02:29 Thursday January 17, 2019-Chief Justice, David Maraga, has received a lot of backlash from Kenyans after he sent a message of condolences to Kenyans who were killed during the Tuesday’s afternoon terrorist attack at DusitD2 Hotel.
During the attack which was carried by Al Shabaab militants, over 21 people were killed and dozens injured as terrorists took control of the hotel. However the four cowards were finally eliminated by Kenya Security forces in an 18 hour operation that ended on Wednesday morning.  After the end of the operation, Maraga took to social media and sent condolences to those who were killed during the shocking incident. “I join Kenyans in condemning attack at the Riverside Business Park yesterday (Tuesday). My heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones, and quick recovery to the injured. I thank our security forces and all others who helped contain the situation. God bless Kenya," the CJ tweeted.  But immediately, Kenyans stormed the social media telling Maraga off over his condolences.  KOT reminded Maraga about the controversial release of a terror suspect a day to the Dusit Hotel complex attack that left 21 dead and 28 others admitted in hospital with various degrees of injuries. “One of the four people charged with carrying out a terror attack on Narobi’s Westgate Mall in September 2013 was freed for lack of evidence,” Justin Muriuki wrote. “What you need to walk away with terrorism, murder or economic crimes in Kenya: 1. Money 2. I said money 3. More money 4. Connected lawyer 5. Don't forget money 6. Corrupt judge 7. More money of course#JudiciaryAidingTerrorism,” Samson Mwangi wrote. On Monday, Nairobi Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi released Adan Dheg, one of the 2013 Westgate mall terror suspects, citing lack of evidence against the accused.
