The operation at 14 Riverside Drive to neutralize the terror suspects is over and 15 Kenyan lives lost, according to President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Kenyans are in deep shock by the unwarranted attack at 14 Riverside Drive that took place on Tuesday afternoon at Dusit D2.

A woman caught up in the attack from the beginning has spoken out narrating the ordeal up until her safe rescue.

The woman named June, who works for a PR firm inside the Dusit hotel complex says she was in the office on a normal day up until she heard an explosion.

June sent a picture of herself hiding under a bench, fearing for her life.

Here is the chronological timeline of events that June described to us:

16.17: June sends a picture of her at the hiding place.

16.53: June sends a message saying has given up and she is ready for anything to happen

17.00-18.30: Messages of encouragement to let June all will be well and that she should not give up as help was on the way from the rescue team.

18.31: A picture was sent of June with a relative safe and out of danger but still in shock and her sister called a friend to verify that she has been saved.

From then on we saw a lot of victims on the news having been rescued from the building where terrorist had held people hostage.
