Kendall Jenner has opened up about her long and sometimes confidence-crushing struggle with acne.

Just weeks after securing a deal as the new face of skincare brand Proactiv, the 23-year old shared a lengthy Instagram post on Thursday about how her journey dealing with huge outbreaks negatively affected her life.I wouldn’t ever wish that feeling upon anyone.



The catwalk queen shared a #10YearChallenge photo to highlight her acne breakouts as a teen, while admitting:

I was 13 and ran home crying everyday because people would stare at my skin

Alongside a fresh-faced snap of her skin now, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star added: ‘While there are much bigger problems happening in the world, suffering from acne for me was debilitating.

‘It’s something that I’ve dealt with since I was a young teen and has caused me to feel anxious, helpless and insecure.‘
