Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior who is gunning to be the next Makueni County governor in the next general elections claims that the sitting Governor Kivutha Kibwana plans to sabotage his government if elected next Governor.

Mutula alleged that Kibwana is sponsoring MCAs who are his close allies to be elected so that they can impeach him if he wins. The senator is thus working on his MCAs lineup to counter Kibwana’s alleged plan. Mutula is also at war with Kibwezi East MP Patrick Musimba who is said to be going for gubernatorial seat, arguing that he will not fear the politics of handouts.

Makueni MP Daniel Maanzo is backing Mutula in the governorship race. According to the MP, Kibwana target is to block Mutula Jnr and planning to impeach him within three months.
