News of the lavish lifestyle of the DusitD2 terrorist, Ali Salim Gichunge and his wife, Violet Kemunto has made headlines.
Media reports indicate that the Al Shabaab bride is on the run and may have crossed the border to Somalia.
Her husband was killed after his senseless attack at 14 Riverside Drive, something Violet did not anticipate.

Apparently, the two had plans to go on holiday in Mombasa after the attack for a holiday to celebrate the first anniversary of their marriage.
Neighbours at Guango Estate in Kiambu County alerted the police after they saw a car driven by Gichunge at the scene of the attack on 14 Riverside Drive business complex.
Violet had just completed her Journalism and PR course at Masinde Muliro University.
On her WhatsApp, Violet describes herself as an Al Shabaab bride and the profile is a picture of a woman in a niqab laced with blood.
The photo is believed to have been extracted from the Internet.

Analyst and detectives are trying to figure out if she is a victim of circumstances blinded by infatuation or a willing cold-blooded killer.
On her Facebook page, close friends and people she went to school with kept asking her why she is soooooo lost.
She doesn’t respond.
All that one can see is a photo of her hand with a wedding ring.
In one post she writes:
“Nothing will happen to us unless what God has written for us.”
