Sunday January 13, 2018-FORD Kenya Party Leader, Moses Wetang'ula, has reiterated his support for a constitutional referendum as being advocated for by NASA Leader, Raila Odinga, saying it is the only way to unite the entire country.

Speaking yesterday, Wetang’ula backed the changes to the Constitution to have elections' losers accommodated in Government. The National Super Alliance (NASA) principal further said such a review to the law would help defuse political tension which heightens after every elections year. According to Wetang’ula, the current Constitution is less accommodative thus impeding national unity and cohesion. "The heated confrontations between contesting parties after every electioneering period will be effectively addressed by amending this Constitution.” “The current scenario where the winner in a General Election takes it all is setting a bad trend for the nation," he said.
