Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe has been allowed to access her house in Lang’ata after it was sealed of following her arrest following the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani.

Maribe who is facing murder charges had accused the prosecution of not allowing her to access her house and her car despite being granted the permission to do so.

She had also pleaded with the court to allow her access to crucial witness statements and supporting documents to enable her to argue her case.

But State Prosecutor Catherine Mwaniki has told the court that Maribe will not get her motor vehicle and mobile phones back immediately, because they are still considered vital exhibits in the murder of Monica Kimani.

Maribe was arrested on September 29 over allegations that she was linked to the murder of Monica Kimani, a Nairobi businesswoman.

A month later, she was released on Ksh.2million bail after Justice James Wakiaga indicated that there was no indication that she posed a flight risk.
