Kenya Commercial Bank of Kenya has been accused of discrediting their partners over matters that they are responsible for. Instead of the bank taking personal responsibility, they chose to smear their partners, a normal thing within the bank.
When it comes to taking responsibility for their own blunders, you can always count out the Kenya Commercial Bank.
A basic search on social media reveals frustrated customers, who complain about poor services and uncaring management.
Despite earning millions per month, KCB CEO Joshua Oigara has failed to transform the support team, a Key sector in any business. The bank has also been linked to money laundering and fraud and fined the highest in the NYS money laundering scams.
Below is a thread by another angered customer.
1. Client Relationship Dilemma So @KCBGroup @JoshuaOigara were experiencing tech problems this evening & with no tech team leaving by 5pm, they were not able to avail RTGs transfers from MPESA @SafaricomPLC @bobcollymore ‘real-time’. So what do they do?
2. Instead of acknowledging this hiccup and consoling customers who are forming queues now, @KCBGroup staff LIE that @SafaricomPLC is experiencing problems transferring the money to them – an has sent an internal email to them about this issue.
3. So I call @SafaricomPLC business support who confirm that the transfer is successful on their end and @KCBGroup are to help
4. With a little tech background, I know that even after an MPESA transfer to @KCBGroup Paybill- they automate the transfer of the amount to personal accounts (which might fail at times, prompting a Fintech to manually transfer the amounts in their CRM).
5. Advertising is expensive and difficult, why would @SafaricomPLC @bobcollymore partners like @KCBGroup @JoshuaOigara blatantly discredit MPESA (negative PR) amongst merchant clients!?
