Kenya to spend Kshs 450 billion on digital literacy programs

Kenya plans to spend more than 450 billion shillings in the next ten years on digital literacy programs. The funds will be spent to equip learners with state-of-the-art digital laboratories, train tutors, and equip learners with devices. ICT cabinet secretary Joe Mucheru says the literacy program is expected to drive innovation and ICT uptake in the country.
