Kenyan athletes you didn’t know were born in December

I think being born in December might be a win for December babies since the festivities usually come with so much excitement and traveling as well. Also since people are usually paid early, guys start spending by getting gifts for their loved ones and themselves.

Quite a good number of Kenyan athletes were born in December and it would be interesting if at one time they join their birthdays and have one mega party.

1. David Rudisha

The two time World Champion 2011 and 2015, and world record holder in the 800 metres is among the athletes who have been born in December. He was born in 1988 on the 17th .

2. Bernard Langat

He is a Kenyan-American middle and long-distance runner. Langat was born in Kapsabet on the 12th of December 1974. He later went to the USA where he made it his permanent home.

3. Linet Masai

She is a Kenyan long-distance runner who competes in track and cross country running events. Linet was also born in December. She was born on the 5th of December 1989.

4. Pamela Jelimo

She is a Kenyan middle-distance runner, specializing in the 800 metres race. She was born on the 5th of December 1989 just like Linet Masai. She is the first Kenyan woman to win an Olympic gold medal.

5. Janeth Jepkosgei

She  is a Kenyan middle distance runner and former world champion. She was born on the 13th of December 1983.
