KPL champions Gor Mahia leave for Nigeria for 2nd leg match

Kenya Premier League (KPL) Champions Gor Mahia left the country Wednesday morning for Nigeria where they will face hosts Lobi Stars in the CAF Champions league first round match at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu State.

The squad comprises of 18 players, and eight officials led head coach Hasan Oktay.

KO’galo will miss the services of Ernest Wendo who is suspended after being booked for the second time in the competition last Sunday when they beat Lobi stars 3-1 in the first leg encounter at the Kasarani Stadium.

The team which will lose in this round will drop to the Caf Confederation Cup, where the 16 first round winners of this second tier competition await.
