- Kasper Dolberg was left fuming when his £62,000 watch went missing from the dressing room

- The incident happened just days after sealing a summer switch to Nice

- It would later emerge that it was his teammate, Lamine Diaby-Fadiga, who had stolen the luxury timepiece

- Diaby-Fadiga's contract at the club was subsequently terminated and has now been allowed to join Paris FC

Promising football star Lamine Diaby-Fadiga is set for a sensational move to French outfit Paris FC just hours after being dismissed by Nice.

Diaby-Fadiga was handed marching orders from Nice after reportedly admitting to stealing his team-mate's KSh 8 million (£62,000) watch.

The youngster is understood to have admitted to making away with Kasper Dolberg's luxury timepiece and was even willing to repay for the watch after apologising.

But the French club could not hear any of that as they went on to terminate Diaby-Fadiga's contract.

"Following the confession of the player, the Club made the decision to break the contract of the attacker... with immediate effect," a club said in a statement.
"Beyond any sporting and financial considerations, OGC Nice can not afford to accept such behavior and to ignore such a fault," the statement continued.

The Patrice Viera-tutored side and Dolberg are however expected to drop criminal into the matter and instead allowing Diaby-Fadiga to join Paris FC.

The 18-year-old was one of the hottest prospects to come out of the Nice academy, but will now be leaving the club under a dark cloud.
