N'Golo Kante has returned to full training for Chelsea ahead of their Premier League cracker with Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

The French midfielder last played for the Blues in their 1-1 draw with Leicester City at home and have since been out of action due to an ankle problem.

Kante started the season strongly, making a cameo appearance against Man United in the league, before playing full minutes against Liverpool in the Super Cup final.

Frank Lampard's side will face the league leaders who are yet to drop a point in five matches while Chelsea have just managed eight points from the same number of games.

But an improved performance against Wolves at the Molineux will give Lampard's men confidence in front of their home fans against the Reds.

Meanwhile, TUKO.co.ke had earlier reported that Chelsea vs Valencia saw Ross Barkley miss a crucial penalty in the Blues defeat but club boss Frank Lampard has insisted there is no issue in the dressing room.

Fikayo Tomori won an 87th minute penalty for Chelsea after the VAR spotted Daniel Wass' hand interfering with the defender's header.
