A priest from Nyeri has been charged over the gang rape of a woman.
The woman was gang raped at Ruring’u estate in the outskirts of Nyeri town on January 12.
Joseph Muraguri of the African Independent Pentecostal Church of Africa denied the charges Thursday when he appeared before Senior Resident Magistrate Maisi Chesang.
He was released on a Sh1 million bond with surety or Sh200,000 cash bail.
Police are yet to arrest his co-accused.
