Man United legend Rio Ferdinand has jumped into the defense of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after the Norwegian coming under fire following Man United's 2-0 defeat to West Ham.

United have collected just two victories from six matches into the new season, including their 4-0 famous win over Chelsea in their season opener.

Their woeful form has seen them plunge to eighth on the Premier League standings with a paltry eight points.

It was however the defeat at London Stadium that put Solskjaer on the receiving end, with furious fans calling for his sacking.

But the Norwegian appears to have the support of Ferdinand, who believes the manager should not leave just yet.

The former United defender was confronted by angry fans who chanted "Ole out."

However, in his response, Ferdinand insisted the club cannot keep changing managers each time results do not go their way.

"Come on man where’s that coming from? Ole out, for what? For what? You just want to keep changing managers every week? Is that what everyone wants?" he posed.
"Two weeks ago I didn’t see that. It’s too knee-j***. Come on man. Sometimes you’ve got to let things play out," he added.
