He will be remembered for being among security officers who successfully combated cattle rustling and banditry activities in the volatile region by engaging communities and warriors into dialogue and empowering reformed warriors in the region.

Led by Kapenguria West Pokot County commissioner, the leaders say  Ndiema’s efforts in peace building has yielded fruits in the region where there is now relative peace after cases of cattle rustling along the West Pokot and Turkana counties border have gone down by 90 percent  in the last three years.

Many reformed warriors from the region have received the news with disbelieve and said that they will continue preaching peace in the region to help continue nurturing the legacy he had initiated.

The body of the deceased commission is at Cherangany Nursing home mortuary awaiting a postmortem.
