Three young children and two adults were shot and killed on Saturday in San Diego, the authorities said.
The police found a 31-year-old man, a 29-year-old woman and three boys — ages 9, 5 and 3 — dead with apparent gunshot wounds, Lt. Matt Dobbs of the San Diego Police Department said. He said an 11-year-old boy was in surgery after being shot as well.
A local television station reported that the victims were found on the 2100 block of Flintridge Drive, a residential area in the Paradise Hills neighborhood.
