DAILY POST: See how UHURU humiliated and embarrassed ESTHER PASSARIS in State House-She didn't deserve that Mr. President, no one does 08:49

Thursday December 20, 2018-Nairobi Woman Representative, Esther Passaris, has recounted how she was humiliated and embarrassed in State House; a humiliation she says stems from the enmity between her and President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Speaking during an interview on Radio Maisha, Passaris recalled walking out of a function presided over by the President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House after she was forced to sit behind her predecessor and political rival Rachael Shebesh. "Waliniita State House kisha nawekwa eti nikae nyuma ya Rachael Sheebesh. Nilijiuliza mbona niwekwe nyuma ya mtu niliyemshinda katika uchaguzi? Nikaamua kurudi nyumbani. (I was called at State House then I was told to sit behind Shebesh whom I defeated in the elections. I felt humiliated and embarrassed; I had to walk out)," Passaris said. At the same time, she lamented of being repeatedly ignored by the President and his Deputy, William Ruto, saying that all her attempts to reach out to them on important issues have been futile. She recalled a recent incident when she reached out to Uhuru with an investment offer worth Sh10 billion, but his indifference would push the investor to neighbouring Ethiopia. Passaris was elected on an ODM ticket, beating her closest rival and Jubilee candidate, Rachael Shebesh.
