Thursday December 20, 2018-Nairobi Woman Representative, Esther Passaris, has exposed Governor Mike Sonko’s inability to lead the country’s capital city.

Speaking on Thursday during an interview with Radio Maisha, Passaris decried worsening working relationship between her and Sonko, which is making it even difficult for the Governor to govern Nairobi. Passaris accused Sonko of mistreating and sidelining her on matters county leadership. She narrated how the Governor has been ignoring her concerns, downplaying her efforts and blocking her attempts to deliver in line with her mandate, saying Sonko is the worst person she has ever worked with.

According to her, Sonko has not only been avoiding her but also ignoring her messages and calls, a demonstration that he wants nothing to do with her.

"Hata kuongea na yeye imekuwa vigumu maana hachukui simu na hajibu jumbe, pia hanihusishi katika uongozi wa kaunti kama inavyohitajika. (He has blocked all communication with me. This has made it hard for us to collaborate in county leadership as should be the case)," Passaris said.

"Labda yuko na kazi nyingi ama amechaganyikiwa ama hataki tufanye kazi pamoja (maybe he has a reason for this, making it hard to conclude on the matter)," she added. The Kenyan DAILY POST
