It’s Friday and for most Kenyans kama kawa we will all get turnt at a party or your fav bar.

So if your a college student and you want to head out and have a good time with your friends but you’re on a budget, try these.

1 .Beers

Cheers to Dad this weekend with these craft beer and food pairings.

Now when it comes to drinking you want to be able to go out and have a good time but still hold your drink plus your still trying to mind the price. In this case beer is your best friend. If you want to start easy  a light beer like Desperados is a  good place to start .It’s alcohol content isn’t that high and it’s pretty affordable.

College students around the world drink this and it came recommended to me by a friend who really knows his way around a drink and has great taste. If your a bit more experienced then you want to move up the ladder to something like Heineken, it’s a good beer or grab a White cap, Castleberg. All of these beers are pretty affordable and you won’t end up with a lighter wallet at the end of the night.

2. Shots

Now if your looking to get a little bit more crazy you can try shots. Some go for as low as Kshs 50 in some bars and the really do a good job at getting you to the other end. Bar tenders around the world recommend  Jägerbomb (Jagermeister shots) for college students. Plus you don’t really have to buy the whole bottle.

3. Cocktails

Now if you have a little more in the bank account, a cocktail is a lane you wanna try. They don’t taste as hard as a shot or whiskey but they still pack a punch. A mojito or a plain rum and coke will do the job plus they do taste pretty great, it’s the best of both worlds so go ahead and grab yourself one.

4. Whiskey

Now a whiskey will most likely set you back a couple of shillings. It’s an acquired taste but for those who have no problem with this drink then you’ll be right at home with this. When you do go out with your friends please drink responsibly and do not drink and drive!
