Uganda High Commissioner to Kenya involved in accident

Uganda High Commissioner to Kenya, Phoebe Otaala was yesterday involved in an accident along the Malaba-Bungoma highway.

The diplomat was travelling from Malaba to Kisumu where she was scheduled to catch a flight to Nairobi.

Bungoma County Police Commandant, Francis Sang, said they received information of an accident involving the envoy on Wednesday morning.

Sang said they rushed to the accident scene and were told that the three occupants of the car had been rushed to a hospital in Bungoma after the 9am accident.

"The three are at LifeCare Hospital for treatment," he said.
