DAILY POST: UHURU “fires” all Cabinet Secretaries and Principal Secretaries –The son of Jomo is not joking with thieves of public money 07:43 Thursday December 20, 2018- President Uhuru Kenyatta has written a circular urging all Cabinet Secretaries and principals secretaries to take a Christmas leave until January 7th.
In what is seen as a sign of firing them, Uhuru issued a memo for the first time since he took office six years ago. Though State House blogger, Dennis Itumbi, has dismissed the memo some political pundits like lawyer, Donald Kipkorir, has said the memo is an indication that the father of the nation is tired with corrupt and lazy CSs and PSs in his administration. The Night of the Long Knives is here .... President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent on compulsory leave all Ministers  & PSes.... Christmas will be a stressful affair..... For the 1st time since independence, our President will be the Minister for all Ministries. Moto itawaka,” Kipkorir wrote. However Itumbi has dispelled the firing claims and said Uhuru issues such a memo during every Christmas holiday. Cabinet and Principal Secretaries have a circular yes. The Circular issued yesterday communicates to them that they can take leave from Friday December 21st 2018 to January 7th 2019. Such circulars are issued each year for the Christmas festive season. #SystemYaFacts,” Itumbi wrote on his Twitter page.
