Video: Babu Owino’s Grand Entrance to Bomas of Kenya During the BBI Launch that Left the public Talking

The vocal Embakasi East Member of Parliament Paul Ongili who is popularly known as Babu Owino shocked the public with how he made his way to the Bomas of Kenya to the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report launch on 27 November.

In a video the outspoken legislator posted on his social media platform, he is being escorted by a team of bodied and rowdy men who walked him to the BBI launch venue.

The legislator, however, claimed the rowdy group forced their way through the gates of Bomas to support him ahead of the launch.

The vocal legislator video caption on social media reads, “Entered Bomas of Kenya with the boys. BBI Tibim!”

The Embakasi East lawmaker’s entourage was seen excited walking close to him as some chanted his name and others pledged their loyalty.

“Babu Owino tialala! Tuko loyal (we’re loyal), Babu tibim!” the bodied escort chanted.  

Being
a loyal member of the Orange Democratic Party (ODM), Babu demonstrated his full
support for the BBI and had severally urged his followers to support it as
soon as it was unveiled to the public.
