Tuesday December 18, 2018 - Last month, a video clip emerged online of Neno Evangelism Ministry Pastor, James Maina Nganga, exorcising demons from celebrated Tanzanian Gospel musician, Rose Muhando. The video, which went viral in a matter of hours, elicited mixed reactions from many East African gospel fans with many of them saying the fake pastor was taking advantage of the Tanzanian gospel maestro. After the emergence of the video, Tanzanian authorities ordered Muhando to return to the country and undergo specialised treatment. Though she never returned to her home country, Muhando is currently undergoing a specialised treatment at a Nairobi Hospital. Prior to her ailment, Muhando was living with a Kenyan Pastor identified as Pastor Stephen Kasolo. A Tanzanian pastor, who is following Muhando’s treatment in Kenya, has revealed that Muhando was being preyed on by sexually starved Pastors in Kenya like Pastor Nganga and Kasolo. The pastor said he has SMSs of Kenyan Pastors making sexual advances to Muhando who is being treated for depression “She may have missed performances but it is because some pastors who invite her for performances want to have sex with her. They are pastors and we know them, and she has shown me the messages they have been sending her,” the Pastor who requested anonymity said. He said many Pastors in Kenya wanted to sleep with Muhando because she is a great gospel musician and they wanted to associate with her name.
