Sunday January 20, 2019-Flamboyant businessman and politician Steve Mbogo has hit out at Nairobi Senator, Johnson Sakaja, amid criticism of his presence at DusitD2 Hotel when terrorists attacked, killing 21 people.

Speaking during an interview, Mbogo said that leaders who were criticising him like Senator Sakaja had lost their mind.

He denied that he was at Dusit taking selfies as terrorists massacred people, saying he was rescuing people from the hotel just like every first responder did.

"I am surprised to see leaders criticising me.”

“I think they have lost their mind like Senator Sakaja who went on television to say that I went to take pictures, “Mbogo fired.

Mbogo reminded those criticizing him that he said he was a victim of terrorism at Westgate and was motivated by a genuine desire to help just as he was helped at Westgate.
