It’s a New Building and New Dawn For ODM, Senior Party Officials Face Sacking For Failing the Party

ODM Leader Raila Odinga will lead an exclusive event on Thursday as the party unveils its new Headquarters in Lavington- Nairobi.

The Party which is said to be revamping ahead of 2022 will also unveil its road-map for the coming general elections. ODM is set to hold its internal elections early next year and Raila has promised that the party will inject new blood into the party.

On Tuesday, the Orange flavored outfit will also unveil a digital registration platform and other communication platforms such as SMS code and a Website.

And it is more than just a new building for the party, a new secretariat is in the offing. In the looming purge, top Directors are likely to be shown the door as the party gears to implement a task force report which indicted the current report. The current secretariat is expected to be out before end of the year.

The new 70million party offices will be led by professionals. ODM. This will be overseen by the Secretariat Management Committee which was constituted last year.

Current office holders wilt be required to apply afresh for their jobs alongside other new applicants- a move that has sent jittery in the Secretariat.

The hitherto Directors include Philip Etale(Communication), Joshua Kawino(Finance and Administration), Wafula Buke(Political Affairs and Strategy) and Rosemary Kariuki (Membership and recruitment)
