Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) have eulogized Mwai Kibaki as a visionary and focused leader who worked hard to improve the lives of Kenyans.

Kibaki’s death was announced on Friday by President Uhuru Kenyatta. The deceased served as Kenya’s third President.

One Twitter user remembered President Kibaki as a quiet and focused president who valued delivery of assigned responsibility without being followed.

Kibaki was also eulogized as a great leader who will go down in history as a hero who believed in economic stabilization.

The late President Kibaki dies at 90. He was sworn in on December 2002 as the third President of Kenya.

Following his death, President Uhuru announces a period of national mourning with flags flying at half-mast until he is buried.
