Queries as Eldoret University logbooks in Private name – Weekly Citizen

Eldoret University is on the spot again after it emerged that vehicles belonging to the institution were suspiciously registered under an individual.
The discovery has put Vice Chancellor Prof Terrasa Akenga in the spotlight.
The shocking report by Auditor General Edward Ouko revealed that log books for 40 motor vehicles belonging to the University were in the name of Moi University and one Wilfred Kipkorir Sang.

Apart from the vehicles, Ouko expressed concerns over sh 186 million from students that has been outstanding for more than three years.
The Auditor General has raised queries over a range of strange happenings at the University including outstanding imprest, academic costs, and irregular approval of the budget among others.
