Man United legendary boss Sir Alex Ferguson could no hide his joy as the side produced a scintillating performance to win the Manchester derby on Saturday, December 7.
A resurgent United staged an epic display in the first half that saw Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial both find the back of the net.
Nicolas Otamendi would however pull one back for the hosts in the second half, but the goal turned out to be a mere consolation as the Red Devils held on to claim a famous win.
The result prompted wild scenes of celebrations from both players and away fans at full-time, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer taking time out to congratulate each of his wards.
And as the United boss headed to the tunnel, he spotted Sir Alex and top club officials in the director’s box, before raising his fist to salute a brilliant derby win.
In his response, Ferguson, who cut a smiling face applauded Solskjaer, with Sir Bobby Charlton -another club legend giving the Norwegian tactician a big thumbs up.
