Suspected police killer gunned down in Githurai Kimbo

Detectives on Friday night shot and killed a man suspected of shooting dead a police officer.

Police say they received a tip-off and trailed the said suspect to Githurai Kimbo.

According to the police, the suspect defied orders to surrender before he was fatally shot.

A pistol with nine rounds ammunition was recovered from the suspect.

The slain suspect is reported to have shot and killed a police officer before fleeing with his official firearm.
