Working with Minaj fufilling – Skales

Nigerian rapper, singer Skales says it was fulfilling working with Nicki Minaj and Major Lazer on their hit Run Up.

“It had never hit me that one day I would get that opportunity to work with such big people. It was a fulfilling thing and I have been Major Lazer’s fan,” he told Word Is on Friday

Skales is known for his hit Shake Body. What inspires his music?

“People around me and so I always want to keep them dancing and happy. I want to be remembered for pushing African music culture to a whole new level and for help young people grow [their] talents,” he said

Skales will feature in Coke Studio 2019. “I was so excited...it is a dream come true as I will work with different artists. I am looking forward to working with Kenyan artistes in collabos,” he said.
