The Inside Story: Why the ‘System’ Prefers Their Long Time Enemy For Presidency Than The ‘Son of Sugoi’

President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition leader Raila Odinga share a light hearted moment at the foot steps of Harambee House after their meeting where they resolved to work together and unite the country after the long protracted elections.

By supporting Raila Odinga’s 2022 presidential bid, the system or the state machinery as they call it, is not doing a favour for him or it is not that they trust or love him so much. it is actually because they don’t have any choice due to the Ruto factor.

As it is clearly seen, the 2022 presidential election is strictly a two  horse race between ODM leader Raila Amollo Odinga and William Samoei Arap Ruto.

The ‘system’ has already analysed the two candidates and realized that supporting Raila Odinga who has been their long time reject will be far much safer than William Ruto.

The system believes that if the youthful, highly tampered son of Sugoi  will take over power in 2022, he may rule through iron fists. They believe his reign will be brutal to an extent that so many people will run away to exile more so those who are currently opposing his bid like Francis Atwoli, Gideon Moi and David Murathe.

That’s why they don’t have any choice apart from supporting Raila Odinga, a man they  have rigged his victory not once, not twice, but severally.

The Kikuyu community who have produced 3 out of 4 presidents so far will decide to give the power to Raila who has promised them the position of the prime minister which according to the sources is likely to be taken by president Uhuru Kenyatta or Peter Kenneth.

Above all, unlike Ruto, Raila is a forgiving man whose reign will be good and enjoyable to all communities.
