Actor Maqbul Mohammed Appointed Head of Radio at NRG

Actor and media personality Maqbul Mohammed has been appointed as the new head of NRG Radio.

Taking to his social media the actor shared the good news with his followers who in return sent him congratulatory messages.

Maqbul is widely recognised for his outstanding performances in TV programmes such as Reflections, Makutano Junction, and Auntie Boss, which thrilled a lot of viewers in the country.

Before joining NRG Radio, Maqbul was previously at Nation FM where he served as Head of Radio.

He joined Nation FM in June 2021, approximately two years after parting ways with Capital FM where he spent about 12 years.

Maqbul got employed at Capital FM after actress Nini Wacera who was an on-air personality at the station called him to appear as a guest.

His deep voice and eloquence wowed Capital FM bosses who eventually decided to offer him a job at the station
